READING BUDDIES 2020
The 3rd and 6th graders had their first Reading buddies activity this Monday. They had to work together to create a mind map about themselves and to see if they had things in common. This activity helped them to get to know one another better by asking one another questions and sharing information about themselves to their buddy.
The students enjoyed writing down facts about them for example their favourite food, subjects and hobbies they also drew pictures. You can see the students mind maps in the primary formation area.
Every three weeks the 3rd and 6th graders will work together doing a variety of different interactive activities which includes reading, writing, speaking activities and more. The students will continue working together till the end of the year.

SAN ANDRES WILL TAKE PART IN CAMBRIDGE GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES WEEK
San Andres has registered to take part in Cambridge Global Perspectives Week in which Cambridge schools across the world will share their experiences of this unique and stimulating programme.
During this special week, students in Y1 and Y2 will have the opportunity to take part in a Cambridge Global Perspectives lesson, discussing key global issues with their peers and learning how to look at world affairs from different perspectives.
Both classes will participate in a special secondary lesson plan, with supporting materials offered by Cambridge.
Hundreds of schools in more than 100 countries have registered to take part, and we are excited to be able to participate in this worldwide activity during this special week, 1-7 March 2020.
We will share photos, videos and comments on social media using the hashtag #GlobalPerspectivesWeek and will copy our activities at @CambridgeInt on Twitter and Instagram, and @Cambridge.int on Facebook.
